A fantastic seminar was held at Atlantic Jiu Jitsu with BJJ black belt, Roger Dardis.
Roger is a black belt coach at the Royal Grappling Academy Dublin . The seminar was held on the 29th of December and provided a great chance for our club members to break away from the Christmas festivities and gain some valuable knowledge on the mats.
The seminar was well received by all of those in attendance and there was certainly a great atmosphere in the gym that day. Roger showed some great back attack techniques while also sharing some of his own personal tips he applies in his own matches.
Roger also presented us with the 3rd place Team trophy from the IBJJF Dublin open which are very grateful to receive. This is a great honour for us to have achieved as we are a small club, but it shows the skill level of our members. The trophy is now proudly on display in the gym.
It was a great experience to learn with another top Irish BJJ Instructor and we hope for many more days like these in the future! A huge thank you to Roger for giving us his time and wisdom on the mats, and to our members that attended the seminar.
