This year our summer camp took place from August 1st – 5th with training twice a day with a seminar on Saturday
Brazilian Jiu Jitsu black belt, Jonathan Thomas delivered a phenomenal camp at Atlantic Jiu Jitsu Sligo.
Brazilian Jiu Jitsu enthusiasts from across Ireland made the journey to Sligo for the chance to learn from Jonathan. 
The camp covered a wide range of techniques from Open Guard to Collar & Sleeve and Knee Cut Passing and much more. Jonathan Thomas, who is widely known for his popular YouTube technique videos, explained the moves with great clarity and monitored everyone’s progress.
The seminar on Saturday had a great atmosphere and was enjoyed by all who attended, with lots of guard retention details being shown and Jonathan giving his own tips on how he perfects positions.
There was ample opportunity for attendees to ask Jonathan any burning questions they may had and a chance to roll with him too. A great seminar that we will not forget and the highlight of the camp for many I am sure.
All feedback from the summer camp was hugely positive. We are extremely happy that all who attended thoroughly enjoyed the camp. A big thank you to Jonathan Thomas for coming to Sligo for the camp and being an excellent teacher. His unique Jiu Jitsu perspective made him a very effective instructor that was greatly appreciated by all. His insights into many techniques and tips on different positions will have given us all food for thought as we go back to our regular training. Above all, we would like to thank all who attended the camp and made it such a brilliant atmosphere.
