Atlantic Jiu Jitsu welcome Isaque Bahiense for Brazilian Jiu Jitsu Summer camp!
Atlantic Martial Arts welcomed world champion and black belt Isaque Bahiense to hold a 5 day summer camp in our facility in Sligo! The summer camp provided great insight from a champion to all attendees.
Isaque Bahiense, a Brazilian Jiu Jitsu black belt under Fábio Gurgel and Michael Langhi of team Alliance, is one of the most talented middleweights of his generation. Since his promotion to black belt just over a year ago, Isaque has amassed victories over top competitors and won many prestigious titles, including the IBJJF World Championship in 2018. The camp, held from August 3rd-7th, was attended by more than fifty Brazilian Jiu Jitsu practitioners from across the country eager to train with and learn from Bahiense.
Bahiense brought a great atmosphere to the mats! He showed various techniques each day in both Gi and No Gi training and offered advice to all attendees. Bahiense had an engaging way of demonstrating techniques and rolled with many of the camp attendees. A truly once in a lifetime experience!
The summer camp consisted of five days of training- 9 hours of training in total. With 2 sessions each day, morning and evening, the camp accommodated for all attendees. The training sessions led by Bahiense consisted of drills techniques, demonstrations and sparring.
The summer camp was an incredible experience for all attendees. The feedback from the participants was extremely positive. There was a great atmosphere in the gym. It was great to see everyone giving their all in training and leaving looking forward to the next session. All members are looking forward to putting their new knowledge to work on the mats soon.
