2018 has been a great year for the club and all of its members! There has been some great fun and some fantastic successes for our members. Take a look at a few highlights of the year below.
2018 brought some serious Brazilian Jiu Jitsu legends to our club. The first of which was Reubens “Cobrinha” Charles seminar in January. Cobrinha has given seminars in our gym before, but each time he shares new nuggets of wisdom. A great start to the new year!
Another highlight for the club was the success our members had in the Sub Only 4 competition. This competition, which took place in Dublin in February, saw our team members giving their all on the mats. They managed to bring 5 medals home in recognition of their great achievement.
In March a great movement seminar was held by Mark Oogan, of Bonobo Gym based on improving movement and mobility. It was a great honour to have Mark in Atlantic Jiu Jitsu and to learn from his extensive knowledge! The workshop was thoroughly enjoyed by all!

Members of the team were also accompanied by the Coaches and non competing members who showed great moral support. Every member who atended represented the club to the highest level.

The world champion brought a great atmosphere to the mats! He showed various techniques each day in both Gi and No Gi training and offered advice to all attendees. The summer camp was an incredible experience for all attendees.
